Tanys Insley is a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast where she earned her Bachelor of Laws degree. She went on to earn a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Tanys completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, which included participating in exchange programs at the University of Oxford and the University of Siena.
During law school, she worked closely with numerous social service agencies where she gained valuable practical experience in addressing criminal and family law issues. Through these collaborations, she cultivated a deep appreciation for the essential adversarial role lawyers assume in promoting principles of fairness and equity.
Tanys works closely with Paul Portman of the firm, assisting him with his files as she grows her individual practice.
In her spare time, Tanys can be found playing hockey, skiing, golfing, walking her dog or attending a concert.
Having grown up in Port Credit, Tanys is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Mississauga where she offers free initial half-hour consultations in the area of family law.
