Family Mediation encourages the parties to work together to come to an agreement that works for
them. During Family Mediation the parties will meet with a mediator, who is a neutral third party, to
help you come to an agreement that you are both satisfied with, because of this, the parties are often
happier with the outcome than if they went to court. Family mediation is often less costly and less
stressful than litigation. After mediation, a separation agreement will be drafted using the same terms
agreed upon in the mediation.
