Derek Yaromich completed his initial post-secondary education at Brock University where he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a combined major in Political Science and History. Derek received his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia.
Derek’s interest in the legal system began at a very young. Upon completing his Grade 11 Legal Studies course, Derek became committed to pursuing a career in law.
While in law school, Derek was heavily involved in the academic community. He was a member of Pro Bono Students Canada, the Faculty of Law Dean’s Hiring Committee, multiple oral advocacy clubs, as well as a caucus representative on the Thompson Rivers University Parking Appeals and Advisory Committee.
Derek is very excited to be working at Epstein and Associates. He holds himself to high expectations and is committed to performing tasks with excellence.
Derek lives in the Niagara Region. He is passionate about health and fitness and enjoys spending his free time snowboarding, golfing, scuba diving and white-water kayaking.
Derek completed his Articling with Epstein and Associates and has stayed on as an Associate Lawyer working primarily out of the firm’s Mississauga office.
