Sofie Hector graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Political Studies and minoring in Global Development Studies. While at Queen’s, Sofie completed a Certificate in Law and co-founded Queen’s University’s first Women’s Pre-Law Society. Sofie then completed her law degree at the University of Windsor before joining the firm in 2024 as a Lawyer Candidate and stayed on with the firm upon her call to the Bar in 2025.
During her legal studies, Sofie volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, a national charitable organization, and the Women’s Legal Education & Action Fund (LEAF). Sofie previously interned as a summer student at a personal injury firm.
Sofie is passionate about serving the community and advocating for those who need assistance.
Outside of the office, Sofie can be found enjoying the outdoors, reading a book, or walking her dog.
