Victoria K. Maxwell-Turanski, or “Tori” as her friends call her, graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in English literature. Tori then completed her law degree at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. During law school, she also completed a certificate in Fundraising Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. Tori was called to the Bar in 2023.
Throughout law school Tori volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, a national legal charitable organization, and actively worked firsthand with clients on a wide variety of issues.
In her final year of law school, she served as the Program Coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada at the University of Windsor, managing a large portfolio of clients, projects, and student volunteers. She has a passion for helping clients to understand the legal process and aspires to make it very comfortable for a client to address an issue with the help of the firm.
Tori is an Associate Lawyer at the firm and practices Wills and Estates, Estate Litigation, Family and Real Estate Law.
Homegrown in Newmarket, Tori has volunteered extensively in the community; she has worked, played sports and gone to school locally throughout her life. She is overjoyed to be returning to her roots and serving her community after completing her post-secondary education.
