Ryan W. Duval

Counsel to the Firm

After graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Waterloo, Ryan spent six years working with Davis + Henderson before deciding to return to school and attend the University of Windsor – Faculty of Law.

While attending law school, Ryan Duval developed a keen interest in family law and a passion for client advocacy. He strongly believes in balancing an aggressive and zealous approach when a client’s rights are at stake, with a cooperative and respectful attitude in order to avoid unnecessary disputes or costly delays – when possible.

Since completing his legal studies and receiving a degree of Juris Doctor, Ryan has practiced exclusively in the area of family law. As such, he has considerable experience advocating and drafting Family Court pleadings. In addition, he has developed his skills in negotiating, dispute resolution and litigating all aspects of family law matters such as child custody, access, division of property and support issues.

Ryan has gained extensive trial experience with the firm and maintains a litigious caseload.  He works closely with Inesa Buchyn of the firm on his matters where practical and, when necessary, he provides Ms. Buchyn with guidance on her matters.

Mr. Duval is available for free initial half-hour consultations.
