Kenneth R. Bandeira is a Senior Associate Lawyer at the firm known for his compassionate, client-focused approach and strategic expertise in all areas of family law, including separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, support, property division, and grandparent contact. He graduated with high distinction from York University with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law & Society and earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Windsor. He was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2015. During his legal studies, Kenneth received the prestigious Gavel Award for outstanding legal writing and advocacy, an honour awarded to only one law student per academic year. His commitment to justice began early as co-founder of the Wrongful Conviction Advocacy Student Group at York University and continues through his ongoing community involvement. He also demonstrated leadership in the York Debating Society and the Portuguese Student’s Association while studying at York University.
Kenneth is highly skilled in negotiation, mediation, and litigation, with proven courtroom experience. He also has extensive experience drafting Cohabitation Agreements and Marriage Contracts to protect clients’ interests from the outset of a relationship. Fluent in Portuguese, with studies in Portuguese linguistics at the University of Minho in Portugal, Kenneth is able to serve a diverse clientele in their preferred language.
